This recipe is fun for using your candy molds. Works all year round.
Ingredients
Gummy bears (or other gummy that is gelatin-based)
Flavored extract (for fun!)
Food coloring (optional)
Granulated sugar
Dairy-free chocolate (optional, instead of sugar)
Tools/other items needed for the recipe:

Double boiler
Candy molds
wax or parchment paper (if using chocolate)
Note: You can also use a microwave-safe bowl and melt the gummy bears at 20-second intervals until thoroughly melted.
Instructions
Add gummy bears to your double broiler until the gummy bears are completely melted. Spoon out the gummy bears (it's sticky) and spread them over the molds. Put in your freezer and chill for at least a couple of hours. This helps them be a little easier to work with later.
If you are using sugar, have a small bowl with some granulated sugar, get the remolded gummy bears out of the freezer, and pop out a couple at a time (they are sticky and can be a little tricky to get out), rolling them in the sugar until they are no longer sticky.
If you are using dairy-free chocolate, have that melted, add the gummies to the chocolate, use a spoon to help get them coated in chocolate, and then add them to wax or parchment paper and chill.
